Scripture
Scripture is any written expression of the Holy Spirit, the sublime esthetic, including but not confined to the Bible and the Book of Mormon. It serves to provoke thought, emotion, and action, functioning as both a doctrinal and a motivational tool. Scripture is a fallible integration of divine inspiration with human creativity and cultural context. Ultimately, its value is realized when we approach it interactively, interpreting it for shared edification, and making it useful for human transformation.
